This is a Portal where ALL Stakeholders in a Gram Panchayat can interact and transact securely, be it Elected GP Members, GP Officials, Vendors and Contractors, NGOs, Citizens, other Government departments and businesses. More importantly it allows the citizens to monitor the Government operations in “Real Time”, which allows for participatory democracy as well as accountability in Government. All other solutions are NOT holistic, rather they are “Islands of Automation”.

What Is The Proposed Business Model?
To implement this portal solution across India in 240,000 Gram Panchayats and about 632,000 villages, we plan to adopt a Franchise Model at District level or at Taluk level. This will be similar to Tally model of market penetration.

Your Future Vision For The Company :
From our experience, we have recognized that implementing technology solutions in village level and bringing economic and social changes in the Rural area, is not easy for companies like Infosys and IBM. This needs a social bent of mind of the stakeholders, as well as intense involvement of the local population. We have envisioned this Foundation as a Social Entrepreneurship venture. The profit margins shall be re-invested for further technology development, as well as moving to other countries in the world.

What Are Your Expected Take Aways From eIndia 2011?
To meet investors and Corporates who will interested in participating in this new paradigm of inclusive growth. To meet technology providers who can integrate their technologies with Sampoorna and provide easy access to services to Rural India. To meet Government leaders who are motivated to bring accounatbility, transparency and efficiency in Local Self Governments in India.
